Even if you do schedule proper septic tank maintenance, cleaning, and pumping, all systems will eventually need to be replaced. Some will literally last for generations, but the type of materials used as well as the elements they’re exposed to can necessitate a replacement in 20 years or less.

If you are looking for septic systems installation, this is when expertise truly matters. County Line Septic, LLC is the right team to install your new or replacement system. Proper installation results in fewer issues and repairs necessary over the lifetime of the unit and its components.

The Process

  • County Line Septic, LLC will determine the type of soil in your yard to determine the type of system that can be installed. This is a processed requires by the local Health Department and we are well versed in their rules and regulations. Test holes are dug with a mini excavator while a Registered Sanitarian from the Health Department takes soil readings on-site. A percolation hole is dug and filled with water to measure how fast the soil absorbs liquid.

  • With the type of soil, lot size, topography of the yard, and other variables, County Line Septic will design a plan which will then be submitted to the Health Department for approval.

  • Once the design plan is approved by the Health Department, a “Permit to Construct” is issued and construction can begin.

  • There will be a large amount of yard excavated. We reserved the topsoil and stockpile it for future use. As we work, the Health Department performs onsite inspections regularly to ensure that the new system adheres to the approved design plan.

  • Once installed, the Health Department inspects the finished septic system to ensure it meets all required Health Codes and still adheres to the original approved plan.

  • The area is carefully backfilled, topsoil replaced, and it is raked, seeded, and hayed to return the yard to its normal condition as quickly as possible.
