When proper septic tank cleaning and septic pumping is performed every 2-3 years, you can drastically improve the functionality and lifespan of your entire system. During your regular septic tank cleaning, the technician will also examine the tank, drains, pipes, and leach field to ensure everything is functioning properly. Best of all, our technicians provide both commercial and residential septic tank pumping services in central and eastern Connecticut so no matter what size system you have, we can help.

Regular maintenance ensures proper performance and can prolong the life of your septic system.

The Process

  • Our pump truck carries over 200' of hose so that the tank can be reached without having to back onto the lawn. Once the tank has been located, the covers to the tank are exposed and removed.

  • After all of the liquid and solids are pumped out of the tank, the tank is checked for any signs of deterioration or cracks.

  • The inlet and outlet baffles are checked to determine that they are intact and functioning properly.

  • If the homeowner is present at the time of the pumping a small amount of water is run in the house to make sure the inlet pipe is clear and working properly.

  • The cover is then placed back on the tank and the hole is backfilled and seeded.

  • A tank evaluation is then filled out which includes the tank size, condition at the time of pump, a map with measurements and any recommendations that were observed at the time of the pumping.
